Pottery Hand Building Course - Wednesday's 9th-30th July

£180.00

During this thorough and enjoyable 6-week course you will learn the main methods of hand building and be able to create a huge range of your own unique ceramic pieces such as decorative items for your home, dishes, planters, vases, sculptures and much more! You will learn the main methods of pottery hand building including, coiling, pinching and slab building, and a huge variety of decorating and glazing techniques.

This course is suited to complete beginners or anyone new to throwing who may need a refresher.

Level: Beginners and refreshers.

Duration: 4 weeks. 10-12.15pm

Includes: Earthenware clay, transparent glaze, firings.

Tutor: Karen Naylor

Please note:

+Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty+

This class is limited to 8 students.

Participants must be aged 18 years and over

Note: Remove jewelry/watches, and trim long nails for ease. Clay will wash out of clothes.

If you are contemplating joining a class, there is nothing like a full hands-on experience, working within a group of like-minded people, and getting a good feel for the facilities, energy and atmosphere of the studio.
