Chance to slab build a wonderful creative planter drawing from Root Connections Garden as inspiration.

You will learn the main methods of pottery hand building including, coiling, pinching and slab building, and a huge variety of decorating techniques.

 Techniques Used:

Slab Rolling – Flattening clay to create smooth surfaces for carving and printing.
Under glazing & Oxides – Highlighting textures and bringing out natural patterns.

Don't worry if you've never tried pottery before – Suzanne will guide you through every step of the process. From an introduction to the world of pottery to preparing your clay, you'll gain a solid foundation of hand building in clay.

For ages 12+. Special sessions for kids 8-12yrs are available during school holidays.

Includes clay, materials, glazing, and firing. Sessions last 2.5 hours, with a max of 5 participants.

Note: Remove jewelry/watches, and trim long nails for ease. Clay will wash out of clothes.
