Throwing Taster Pottery Workshop - 5th July

Saturday 10am - 12.30pm
This class will introduce you to the basics of throwing on the wheel.
Don't worry if you've never tried pottery before – Suzanne will guide you through every step of the process. From an introduction to the world of pottery to preparing your clay, you'll gain a solid foundation in wheel throwing. And the best part? You get to decide how many pieces you want to create!
Throughout the class, you'll work with high-quality materials and tools, ensuring that your creations turn out just the way you envision them. There's something truly therapeutic about working with clay and immersing yourself in a creative activity.
At the end of the class, you'll have the opportunity to choose your favorite piece for the finishing touches.
Suzanne will fire and glaze it, transforming your creation into a stunning masterpiece. You can collect your finished piece from Manor Farm Studios within 2-3 weeks. Spaces are limited, so book early!

For ages 12+. Special sessions for kids 8-12yrs are available during school holidays.
Includes clay, materials, glazing, and firing. Sessions last 2.5 hours, with a max of 5 participants.
Note: Remove jewelry/watches, and trim long nails for ease. Clay will wash out of clothes.
